What age groups does ACT ONE CLUB serve?

Youth ages 10 & up

Do youth need to come everyday to participate in ACT ONE CLUB?

No. Our after-school and summer program services are flexible and based on the scheduling needs of the individual and family. We do recommend that youth participating in our Sunday and Thursday evening programming attend every week included in the session for that particular topic/theme. Typically each theme will have four session/weeks per topic for all Sunday and Thursday programming.

Is funding available for ACT ONE CLUB?

Funding is available for youth eligible for services via:

  • Medicaid Waiver

  • Youth/Families eligible for county-funded Agency HBSS services from Boone County Family Resources (BCFR)

  • Private Pay

How do I enroll in your services?

  • Families can SCHEDULE A MEETING with ACT by completing an online form. ACT will contact family ASAP upon receiving request.

  • Families can also contact ACT, Program Manager, Tara Shade by email at tshade@actservices.org or by calling (573) 474-9446 x3235 directly to schedule discovery/intake meeting and/or phone conference to discuss opportunities available.

  • Support Coordinator (Boone County Family Resources) and/or Case Manager (Central Missouri Regional Office) can participate in discovery/intake meeting or ACT can communicate requests for services following meeting with family.

  • Calendar of activities can be viewed by families online prior to scheduling discovery/intake meeting providing additional information.

  • Online link utilizing a specialized password is provided to families who wish to sign-up for activities and events after authorization of services are approved.  If families are not interested or lack access to signing-up online, that process can and will be coordinated  by ACT Program Manager, Tara Shade.
